The Story So Far...

AKA too lazy to read the logs

Session 1: Starting Off On The Wrong Foot

Silas, Brinden, Artemis and Illi find themselves in jail together.  The first three got caught up in a bar fight.  There is a fifth prisoner named Dunk.  Silas's sister, Themis, broke them out with a master key.  Why does she have a master key?  Probably out of necessity since Silas can't seem to keep his ass out of jail. They all gathered their belongings and accidentally set Dunk free.  Turns out Dunk was wanted for mass murder, oops.  Brinden finds a naughty picture and keeps it.

Session 2: Starting Off On The Wrong Foot

Brinden goes missing.  They all try to sneak out, but come across a bunch of metal guard dogs.  They annihilate those metal guard dogs.

Session 3: Starting Off On The Wrong Foot

Brinden’s back!  As the group continues trying to escape, they run into Bharash Pallermourn, head of the Order of the Flame.  After a lot of lying and fumbling, Artemis just charms him and he allows them to leave.  They make a few stop-offs in town before running off to hide in the forest.  There, they run into a human and a gnome, both badly injured.

Session 4: This Is The Pits

The group finds out the human and gnome work for Merrick and had been attacked by goblins, so they go to check it out.  There is someone named Nord missing.  They get ambushed by goblins and Artemis starts developing her javelin fetish.  They kill the goblins and walk on to find a cave with more goblins.

Session 5: This Is The Pits

William leads a separate group sent by Merrick and the Piscene Corp towards the caves.  He goes ahead to check it out and runs into the group.  They kill a bunch of boars and goblins.

Session 6: This Is The Pits

They manage to keep one goblin alive for questioning.  The goblins are digging for something, led by Beastmaster Bainx.  The goblin tries to escape and is killed.  Everyone’s tired and decide to sleep.  Brinden and Illi have a conversation in Elvish.  William tries to escape, but he is thwarted and convinced to join them instead to search for Nord.  After they rest, they move on.

Session 7: This Is The Pits

Silas falls into a pit of rats.  Artemis talks to a rat.  Brinden kills a bunch of rats.  William gets bitten by a rat.  Illi eats a rat.  Rats for days.

They hear goblins and try to set a trap, but are thwarted by Brinden’s fart.

Session 8: This Is The Pits

They fight goblins.  They kill goblins.

They fight giant mosquitos.  They kill giant mosquitos.

Illi has weird silver hair.  She hates goblins cause they killed her best friend.  William gets drunk and dresses up like a goblin.

Session 9: This Is The Pits

Brinden and Silas argue over clockwise vs counterclockwise.  They descend deeper into the cave and fight/kill more goblins.  They sleep, and William steals a magic rock from Silas.  Silas finds out, but William doesn’t recall taking the magic rock.  Something causes a thrall in William and Artemis, and they disappear behind a waterfall.

Session 10: This Is The Pits

Silas, Illi and Brinden follow Artemis and William into the waterfall and down to the Nothic’s lair.  The Nothic plays a terrible game of truth or truth with them, and attacks William when he couldn’t answer.  They are eventually allowed to leave.  They go even deeper into the cave where they face off against Bainx and a giant rat named Levi.  They win and rescue Nord, yay.

Session 11: This Is The Pits

Brinden goes missing again.  Everyone does a bit of healing and looting.  Silas notices there’s something off about William.  After talking to Nord, they figure out how to open a magic door and recover a large black magic obelisk.  As they bring it and Nord out of the cave, they are met with Bharash and a bunch of guards.

Session 12: Intermission

Brinden is still missing.  Everyone but William are arrested again and go on trial.  They are found innocent and allowed to go shopping.  Artemis may be a runaway/missing princess??  Themis convinces everyone to watch after Silas.  The leaders of the city puts the group in charge of the obelisk, which probably isn’t the best idea they’ve ever had.  The group picks Bharash to bunk down with.  While bunking down, the obelisk activates and transports them to somewhere not Loudwater.

Session 13: The Deadicated King

Brinden is back, but Artemis goes missing.  They find they were transported to a cemetery where a bunch of zombies were facing off with two guards and three young female sacrifices.  The group kills the zombies.  Nobody speaks common.

Session 14: The Deadicated King

Artemis returns.  Everyone finds shelter along with the girls.  One guard ran off, the other one is being kept prisoner.  One of the girls, Zoska, speaks kinda-sorta Elvish and Brinden finds out roughly what’s going on.  They are being given as gifts to Rannok, the Heirless King.  To make heirs.  Or else the entire town suffers.  Everyone agrees to free the girls come morning.

Session 15: The Deadicated King

William tries to shank the guard.  Silas stops him and frees the guard, letting the guy take the girls to Rannok.  Nobody is happy.  After a while, they follow after the guard and come across a mausoleum where they battle wolves before getting to safety.

Session 16: The Deadicated King

They explore the mausoleum and come across a lot of ghosts.  One of them tries to suck Illi’s face.  The guard is there and his face got sucked.  William can suddenly understand things.  The guard gives them an amulet against undead that shares happy memories.  Illi puts in a happy memory.  Silas talks to a ghost gnome and promises to find his ring for him.

Session 17: The Deadicated King

They find a way into the next chamber, but had to solve a puzzle.  Illi nearly kills everyone.  They fight a bunch of undead wolves.  Illi throws up on them.

Session 18: The Deadicated King

They keep going and try to cross a rope bridge, but it collapses and they get attacked by a tentacle monster.  Hilarity ensues.  They kill the tentacle monster.

Session 19: The Deadicated King

There’s a weird gold door that they can’t open.  So instead, they find a place to rest and take a snooze.  There’s a ladder going up to a statue of Rannok.  Trying to open the gold door resulted in pain, Artemis goes up and see if there’s anything William can translate.  Oops, giant wolf.

Session 20: The Deadicated King

They all fight the giant wolf.  Illi uses the amulet and her happy memory is playing with wolves.  They kill the giant wolf and harvest its organs.  Silas climbs Rannok and looks into his eyes.  Shit goes down, Silas falls off Rannok.

Session 21: The Deadicated King

Brinden takes the amulet next and puts in a happy memory.  They decide to use an acid sac they harvested from the wolf to melt the gold door.  It works.  They then get attacked by two wights and two zombies.  Brinden releases his happy memory, which may or may not be rated PG.  Artemis turns into a wolf.  William turns into a jerk.

Session 22: The Deadicated King

Silas interrogates William, who says his name is Alcor.  There’s a random kitten.  Brinden and Illi think they are kittens too.  Artemis takes the amulet and puts in a happy memory next. They go on and talk to another tentacle monster who speaks common and is from Loudwater.  Poor tentacle monster is trapped there.

Session 23: The Deadicated King

They come across a room with a bunch of statues of the wights they fought.  There's apparently going to be at least one more, bigger than the others.  Artemis got mentally badtouched by an evil wizard clown named Oberron who invited everyone to party with him and Rannok.  When the group (except Alcor??) tried to kick his ass instead, he ran away like a wuss.  Silas abuses animals.  Illi collects rocks.  Oops, giant plant monster.

Session 24: The Deadicated King

ILLI, NO.

Session 25: The Deadicated King

Plants are bad.

Session 26: The Deadicated King

What is even happening anymore. Crying. I'm so far behind on updating things.

Session 27: The Deadicated King

They went into a rune room.

Session 28: The Deadicated King

They're still in a rune room.

Session 29: The Deadicated King

A bunch more Ghosts Of Christmas Things Killed attacked them.  In turn, everyone shot arrows at Artemis.  Silas got a mini vacation with Cat.  At some point, Artemis had released her memory of how much she loves nature.  And Silas had put in a memory of how much he loves the wind in his hair.  They finally got out of the rune room.

Session 30: The Deadicated King

...only to enter another rune room.  Illi touched a thing and got transported into the boiler room.  The others quickly followed.  They managed to "rescue" Zoska, the spicy sacrifice, who in turn tried to beat the crap out of the men.  They faced off against the last wight, who was like muscles on top of muscles, and a bunch of female zombies in various degrees of decomposition.  Silas let out a second memory of good times with his crew, then he went night night.

Session 31: The Deadicated King

The last wight, Brekka, was apparently a barbarian too.  He and Brinden got into a testosterone match.  Cat went down.  Silas went up.  William went down.  Illi went down.  Tons of zombies went down.  Silas forgot how to paladin.  In the end, Brekka was defeated and the gang found a nice little patch of greenery to take a snooze.

Session 32: The Deadicated King

Brinden disappears for good.  After a long rest, the party tries to continue on, leaving Zoska in the safe patch of greenery.  They had to get around a huge pit, which (of course) Silas fell into.  Artemis made friends with the bats there, who dubbed her Twinkles 24.

Session 33: The Deadicated King

Out of the bat cave and into the spider cave.  There were spiders.  So many spiders.  Spiders for days.  Everyone thought they heard William's mother, but it was a lie.  Cause Oberron is a jerk who likes to put on a dress and stab people with knives.

Session 34: Old Heroes of Loudwater

Back home in Loudwater, barely a day had passed.  Nesta, Krespin, Thessus and Bharash are trying to get the party out from the obelisk, and stop a moment to reminisce about the old days.  Flashback to the original Heroes of Loudwater on an epic adventure of to stop a goat cult trying to summon a pit devil.  On the way, they met Elainne Twyndlebae and saved Velar Burtane.

Session 35: The Deadicated King

Turns out Oberron had drugged Silas, sending him on a very bad trip and then running away.  After Silas recovered, the party raided Oberron's mad scientist lab and Alcor charged the memory medallion before they all stumbled into Rannok's throne room.  Oberron was there disguised as one of the sacrifices.  He seems to really like pretending to be female.  Alcor released his memory, which was surprisingly not demonic.  Silas and Illi double teamed Rannok while Alcor got chased around by a horse.  Oberron charmed Artemis.  Artemis, as royalty and the only one who could kill Rannok, does so while in the form of a hare and got a Rannok hand stamp so she can re-enter the mausoleum.  Oberron ran away again.

Session 72: Udder Problems / Intermission

More zombie cows and angry owlbears.  Met Illi's family.  Stop trying to dig up William's mom, Shale.  That's rude.

Session 73: Intermission / A Host of Trouble

Back to the Land of Mists, where it is apparently winter now.  The group got ambushed by a bunch of Shale clones called the Volen Host.

Session 74: A Host of Trouble

Hung around The Wallowing Shoal and gathered information from the locals.  In the most awkward way possible.

Session 75: A Host of Trouble

Saved Pecora from a giant talking winter wolf.

Session 76: A Host of Trouble

Entered the Bell Tower.  Spiders.

Session 77: A Host of Trouble

[11/3/16] Bigger spiders.  Found a mysterious magical metal bar.

Session 78: A Host of Trouble

[11/9/16] GIANT SPIDER.  Spidermis returns and fights for territory.  Illi disappears halfway through.  Spider is defeated and Alicia is saved from a webby death.

Session 79: A Host of Trouble

Illi disappears for good.  Silas disappears for bad.  Cause without Silas, shit goes down.  The rest of the group + Alicia and Marcel decide to go explore the stables.  Femurs make great lanterns, but dead horses want it back.  William finds another one of those magical metal bars, and then was ambushed by a skeleminotaur.  Shale adopted a skelehorse named Flumph.  Marcel was jelly.  Flumph re-dies saving Shale.

Session 80: A Host of Trouble

Marcel dies ;A;  The group drags his mangled corpse out into the snow and leave it there surely as a sign of respect.  Then they try to break into the armory, but couldn't get in the locked tower.  So they went around back like good burglars.  There was a lot of grease, undead, and greased undead inside a temple.  Why is there a temple inside an armory?

Session 81: A Host of Trouble

Alcor and Shale's boots were made for walking.  And killing undead.  There's a locked door in the basement that seems to attract the mysterious magical metal bars they've been finding everywhere.  There is probably candy inside.  They find out the Volenhost were run by a grown man prone to hissy fits.  After killing everything in sight, they finally find the key that opens the locked tower, but before they can go inside, Alcor gets a distress signal from Cat.

Session 82: A Host of Trouble

Alcor looks through Cat's eyes and there was a lot of chasing and flailing and furniture flipping.  Okay, forget the tantalizing tower, let's go to the barracks to save Cat.  Alas, Cat poofed, but they're able to help an incapacitated Brelith and a frantic Neth who are ranting about attacking orbs of light.  After a quick cursory glance in the barracks, the group decides to sleep on it and had weird dreams, which happened to include a kid!Rannok.

Silas became a Rockbiter.

Then it was back to the barracks, where everything ended... lightly.

Session 83: A Host of Trouble

Shale disappears to Disneyland.  Silas went loot crazy.  Artemis is full of wind.  Alcor got bored and let Mizar have his body back.  The group realizes that light is a terrible, terrible thing that can shoot lightning.  How do you fight light??!  The group escaped the light only to run into a black pudding monster.  Artemis ends up running up and down the halls and becomes a pyromaniac.

Session 84: A Host of Trouble

Shale returns just in time to heroically save everyone with some well-placed grease.  They kill one monster and catch the other one, which had been reduced to a tiny fingerling tentapod.  Artemis made jerky.  Shale went elbows-deep in rancid fat.  William drew pudding.  Silas facepalmed repeatedly.  After some more exploring, the children wandered off and incited the ire of a creepy shadow ghost who apparently was once a man.  He's probably lying.

Session 85: A Host of Trouble

After a delightful Scooby-Doo romp through the barracks, the ghost who was once a man was no longer anything.  But the trouble wasn't over yet, as the party encountered a broken bloody host helmet, large bipedal wolf tracks, and drag marks from the armory.  Quickly returning to the armory, they discovered the body of a mutilated Alicia.

Session 86: A Host of Trouble

Neth had lost it, devolving into a babbling mess.  Brelith was nowhere to be seen.  Shale and William discover that Marcel's buried body had gone missing, seemingly dug up without the use of tools.  Silas puts Alicia's body on the alter of the mini-temple as the others drag Neth into the watchtower to bunk down for the night.  Shale informs Silas that stairs exist.  After a long rest, it's the morning of the fourth day.  During the night, Silas noticed a figure dragging something out of the armory, and they discover Alicia's body has also gone missing.  They follow the trail to the guard admin building, and discover a lush green area inside, kept pristine by magic.  After a bit of exploring, Shale encounters a shadow ghost.

Session 87: A Host of Trouble

The party is attacked by Shadows who seem to like the taste of cinnamon roll.  After traumatizing William, they rid the place of Shadows and venture to an area inhabited by ghouls.  Cat poofed spying on them chowing down on what remains of Marcel, further traumatizing William.  They decided it best to lay down some caltrops and go explore the jail instead, where they find the last magic block piece to open up the secret door at the armory.

Session 88: A Host of Trouble

Ghouls stepped on caltrops and bled.  The party chased them up to their lair, where they were nomming on Alicia's body.  Shale became a janitor and cleaned up.  William decided he missed Marcel so much, he'll just take Marcel's head with him for company.  Shale grouped up the dead bodies they found, but it was too many to carry with them.  They might just burn the place down instead, which is always the best answer for any problem.

Session 89: A Host of Trouble

They returned to the armory to open up the secret door, where they found treasure and a lot of water.  Like, a LOT of water.  After a harrowing escape from experiencing a permanent bath, the party took a long rest and made their way to the church in the mountains.  It was literally IN the mountain.  After exploring the main room and looking at the stained glass portraits of the holy people, Artemis uncovers a secret passage opened with Silas's Bainx key.

Session 90: A Host of Trouble

The party descended into the secret chamber, which turns out to be the church's indoor graveyard, containing the bodies of everyone they saw in the stained glass portraits except for one.  And Brelith's body.  Before they could explore further, they were interrupted by two large black wolves and  Pecora, who was dressed in holy robes.  And who was not Pecora at all, but Lupona disguised as Pecora.  Lupona wanted revenge on all Corvopato, and had her eyes on Shale.  When the party refused to hand him over, she put on the Ebon Gauntlet and turned into a werewolf.  A hard fight followed where Shale ran away in fear, Artemis started eating dirt and rocks, and Alcor began laughing his ass off.  Finally Silas broke a wolf's back, Shale decapitated the other one, and Silas went for the killing blow on Lupona but was unable to end her due to his curse.  But he and Shale went down, and Alcor ended up making the killing blow on her and receiving the next curse.

[Sessions 91-97]

Session 98: Intermission

Silas goes toy shopping. Shale took Flumph on walkies while pantsless. William feeds his lobsters sawdust.  Artemis has a nice chat with Rannok about her royal responsibilities.  They learn that most of the Loudwater higher-ups have been researching the lady ghost Finnegan mentioned earlier, the same ghost that Quentin addressed as the dark lady Alexandra. After talking to Quentin and feeding Bizzlebane, the party comes across Alexandra herself, resulting in Artemis and Shale suddenly being able to get senior discounts.

Session 99: Intermission / Ereptile Dysfunction

The party rushes back up and are taken to Ellyonne's for de-aging. Along the way, Artemis crashes into a birthday gnome.  Silas gives Shale some friend lint.  The following day, they decide to return to the mists.  They land in Dementlieu during an awesome festival where the main attraction is mutilating teenagers.  Their Vistani contact is a pretty girl named Ilaria.

Session 100: Ereptile Dysfunction

After the fun and mutilation, Simdel and the families head to the temple.  The party goes with, where Artemis and Silas help with the wounded.  William got outted as a fiend and almost got into trouble.  After gathering some information, including the fact that a carriage comes for pretty teenagers and that's why they get mutilated, they tuck in on some fair food and head to the inn. In the morning, the carriage arrives anyway and requests Ilaria. The party escapes with her in a very villainesque way as Silas lays down a cloud of darkness while flipping the bird.

Session 101: Ereptile Dysfunction

Random guy with dark skinned and wavy dark hair was watching the tieflings.

Scooby Doo chase scene.  William is a football.  Silas flies and kills a guy.  Artemis is not a god.  Shale develops butt powers??  After they escape, Artemis hears a loud whistle in her head and unwillingly turns into Crocamis and goes back to the village where apparently Godfrey is controlling a giant two headed snake.

Session 102: Ereptile Dysfunction

Godfrey tries to turn Artemis into a cannibal.  They leave Ilaria in the forest and try to sneak back to town.  Shale found Artemis 1 and Artemis 2.  Silas and Shale suck at sneaking.  William plays dress-up and tries to pass himself off as Brinden.  THESE PEOPLE ARE FULL OF SCALES.  Shale is not proficient in baby goat or raccoon carcass.  Godfrey turned into a weird snake person with snakey-wakey hands that bit Silas.  Ilaria ran in and surrendered herself. Damnit.

Session 103: Ereptile Dysfunction

Godfrey used Silas as a bargaining chip to get everyone to surrender.  All their stuff is taken from them and they're thrown in a wagon, where they are then taken into the ballroom scene from Labyrinth.  Shale tried to help himself to refreshments and was thrown in jail.  William gets thrown in with him.  The tieflings find themselves in 50 Shades of Chartella.

Session 104: Ereptile Dysfunction

Silas and Artemis escape along with their new friend, Qamar. Shale sneaks keys off a guard and escapes with William, and frees Mort who threatens to pee on Shale.  Silas and Artemis beat up a guard and ran into a bedroom where they each stole perfume.  Shale and William go invisible and run into a trash monster.  Silas and Artemis sneak into Aceline's room and found William's journal.

Session 105: Ereptile Dysfunction

The trash monster keeps wanting to eat Shale.  Silas and Artemis catch some ladies in waiting trying on Aceline's pretty dresses.  William gives the trash monster sweet things to eat while Shale covers investigating guards with congealed meat.  Silas and Artemis fight the ladies in waiting, who are also snake people?  Shale and William escape the trash monster.  Silas has boobs???

Session 106: Ereptile Dysfunction

Shale and William camping out in Godfrey's office and then Shale shoved William through a magic wall.  Silas and Artemis disguised themselves and went downstairs.  They passed by an invisible William. Artemis and Silas end up with the trash monster.  William ends up with a snake monster.  Shale's on kitchen duty.

Session 107: Ereptile Dysfunction

Silas and Artemis fight the trash monster with Shale coming to their rescue.  Silas and Shale both go down as Artemis escapes with them right into Chartella's grasp.  Meanwhile William tries to escape from the snake monster, but is caught and rendered unconscious, then was thrown back in jail.  Silas, Shale and Artemis escape again with the help of two summoned dire wolves.  William fireballed.

Session 108: Ereptile Dysfunction

Silas, Artemis and Shale all go down the dumbwaiter.  William gets knocked unconscious by cultists, who then gets pushed into the trash room by the others.  They revive William and take a long rest.  The rest is interrupted by a cultist, who they subdue and steal a key from that opens up the storage where their armor are kept.  After sneaking back out to the ballroom, the found a dinosaur.

Session 109: Ereptile Dysfunction

Dinosaur ;A;  HEEEEEEERE'S SILAS!!  The group murder a bunch of cultists, then breaks into a library where Shale draws mustaches on boobs.  A statue comes to life and goes for William.

Session 110: Ereptile Dysfunction

Three statues come to life and come after the party.  The statues are demolished and the party goes upstairs and break into the magic room.  Artemis took a magical headpiece and William unlocked a black box and inside was a lyre named Jannifer Hansalfy from Northern Ergoth.  Silas and Jannifer are best friends.

Session 111: Ereptile Dysfunction

The party concocts a plan to lure the snake creature out and sneak in the golden doors.  It works, and William gets in, but Shale blows his cover.  William gathers up Shale's armor while everyone else takes on the snakes.  A big fight ensues and the party tries to retreat into Aceline's bedroom.  Soft crying leads them upstairs while the snakes and Phobek break down the door.  The crying noises come from two handmaidens Silas and Artemis encountered before, one completely stoned and the other half stoned.  No weed in sight.

Session 112: Ereptile Dysfunction

The remaining girl gives the party some information before completely turning to stone.  Everyone hides as Phobek enters and searches for them.  Silas murders a statue and Artemis becomes extremely intimate with some heels.  Phoebek eventually leaves for the hatchery.  The party decides to go after Chartella, and manages to trick him. Critical nut kick.  Artemis's curse triggers and raises zombie snakes. Shale goes down. Silas's curse triggers.  The snake starts eating Shale, but Artemis brings him back as Silas looms up behind her, still in the midst of cursed rage.

Session 113: Ereptile Dysfunction

Silas is quickly brought back, and they finish off the last snake, which turns back into Chartella's scarf.  They shackle Chartella up and drag him into his chamber where they question him about what the heck is going on. He explains everything and makes a deal with them to take them to Godfrey in exchange for killing Godfrey.  They mount a surprise attack on Godfrey, where he was making Illaria drink nasty shit.

Session 114: Ereptile Dysfunction

The fight continues, and the mob of snakes is reduced to one.  Named George.  Artemis falls under Godfrey's command and turns into Crocamis and attacks William, sobbing all the while.  As the fight ensues, Silas finishes Godfrey off with a Hellish Rebuke, incinerating him to death.  Afterwards, William finds that Alcor has disappeared and freaks out.  He zombies out while everyone else decides their next move.  Silas gives Jannifer to William to replace Alcor.  Jannifer will be writing some angry, angry songs about red tieflings.

Session 115: Ereptile Dysfunction

Shale comes back full force and nearly single handedly took down Phobek.  He afterwards honored his fallen Corvopato brethren and collected their armor and butt capes.  The party retires to Chartella's chambers for a rest, during which William bonds with Amba.  In the morning, William wakes to find Alcor has returned.

Session 116: Ereptile Dysfunction

The following day, it's time to take Aceline down.  Unfortunately Chartella's a snake in the grass, but without the grass.  He escapes after trying to trick everyone, and William becomes the new Chartella.  They descend in and attack Aceline, with Shale keeping his eyes firmly on her underboobs.  Giant two headed snakes are bad.

Session 117: Ereptile Dysfunction

A long, hard fight ensues involving drowning in snake sex juices, Aceline's face on Alcor's ass, a tiny snake bursting out Alien style, and Shale touching Artemis's butt.  Shale finally kills Aceline, receiving her curse.  Lord Inksalomm rules on high for 2 seconds.  The party returns to Loudwater, leaving Illaria to the mercy of Chartella.
